Education is the Equalizer

Education is the backbone of a successful society. However, with the continuous war in the South Sudan area, most regions have have been affected significantly. Among the affected sectors is the that of Education. With schools destroyed and teachers displaced, most children have remained vulnerable. GEPO seeks to bridge the gap in the education for the vulnerable children by offering children books and other leraning materials. the organization also supports volunteer teaching staff to bridge the gap created by the displaced teachers. Despite our input we still have challeneges and seek for support of other interested parties to make these dreams a reality for these vulnerable children.

With the lack of physical infrastructure destroyed by the wars, the children have to take their lessons under trees while sitting on the ground and such aren't conducive learning environments because of the harsh weather conditions like rains, severe sun and wind constantly disrupting their learning. GEPO seeks to have proper structures for the learners, offer the necessary learning materials and also cater for other learning costs, including offering books, blackboards, and meals during their stay in school, considering some come from very poor backgrounds.
